Mechanical Processing in the Avionics Sector
Euro S.r.l. was founded in June 1999 in San Casciano Val di Pesa (province of Florence), in the heart of Chianti. Starting as a small handcrafted company with 5 business partners who previously worked for Sirio Panel Spa, Euro Srl produced illuminated panels for the aircraft industry.
Product specialization and the commitment of both founders and the whole staff of Euro Srl have allowed our company to become a fundamental provider of a wide range of information and control components in the supply chain of the Leonardo Group .
Our devices represent the pilot-aircraft interface for the illumination, the visualization and the control of on-board systems in the aircraft cockpits, where they enhance perception, vision and communication characteristics.
Always supporting the development of aircraft commercial programs both for AIRBUS and ATR and for AGUSTA helicopters, over the years Euro has expanded its competences by investing on the growth and the development of human resources and today has 40 employees.
In 2018 a path of investments aimed at optimizing and improving production control was undertaken, pursuing the Industria 4.0 project, which led the company to renew the fleet of machines, through the acquisition of a new generation laser engraving machine and two new CNC vertical machining centers with CAD-CAM software.
Euro’s production can be summarized as follows:
- Complete realization of NVG compatible illuminated panels and knobs;
- mechanical machining of plastic materials;
- inserts and helicoil assembling;
- high precision painting;
- laser marking;
- light trimming;
- manual soldering with tin;
- electronic and electromechanical assemblies in ESD protected work environment;
- product testing according to the required aircraft standards.
In 2010 Euro received the UNI EN ISO 9001 certification
